Road and rail work will be front and centre for Belleville City Council Monday night.
At Monday’s meeting, the Canadian Pacific Herchimer Avenue crossing near the Bay of Quinte, will be up for discussion.
CP believes that the entire crossing restructuring project should be paid for by the municipality.
City staff very much disagree.
Staff will recommend that council delay the work, while the city and CP renegotiate a cost sharing agreement.
