Elementary school students from across the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board will be making lots of noise at Centennial Secondary School this Thursday (April 19).
The third annual Bandfest runs that day from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will feature live music performed by students. There will be multiple adjudicators and private workshops with professional conductors.
Nine elementary school bands will be participating. They can be classroom-based or extracurricular and must include, but are not limited to, woodwind and/or brass instruments.
All parents and families are welcome to attend.
