A 16-year old boy is scheduled to appear in court next month after an incident involving a knife yesterday.
Before 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, police responded to a complaint of a male with a knife making threats at a group of females in the Ritchie Street area.
Investigation led to information that the male with the knife had been charged in a previous police investigation which resulted in him being released on conditions.
He was charged with one count of mischief under $5000 and two counts of Breach of Undertaking.
He has a court date on May 8.
Arrest following disturbance
Belleville, On – On Saturday at at 9:48 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Moira Street West. It was reported that a male was yelling and swearing within the building. A 42-year-old male was arrested and charged under the authority of Liquor License Act.
