The Belleville Sports Hall of Fame has a new display honouring the late captain of the World Champion Belleville McFarlands.
The sweater worn by Floyd Crawford as the Macs toured Europe leading up to the 1959 World Hockey Championships in Czechoslovakia has been loaned by the Crawford Family to the Belleville shrine.
In addition to the sweater, the Gold Medal that Floyd received as a member of the winning team, along with a replica of the Championship Trophy, the Team Canada blazer and the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association pin worn by Crawford.
The 1958 and 59 McFarlands were inducted into the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame in 1989 and Floyd Crawford was inducted individually iin 1992.
The display is at the Belleville Sports Hall of Fame in the Dr. R. L. Vaughan Atrium on the second floor at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
