The Belleville Senators will get a boost on their blueline when they host the Toronto Marlies tomorrow night.
Defenceman Erik Burgdoerfer has been re-assigned by the parent Ottawa Senators to Belleville. The B-Sens blueline leader played two games with Ottawa scoring his first NHL point Tuesday night in Tampa.
Yesterday the B-Sens also announced the signing of NCAA free agent forward Ryan Scarfo to an AHL contract for next season and an amateur tryout agreement for the rest of this year. Scarfo joins Belleville after 4 years at Union College in Schenectady, New York.
Belleville hosts the AHL leading Marlies tomorrow (Fri) night at 7:05 (6:50 on CJBQ) and the Utica Comets Saturday night.
