Despite an 18 point difference between them during the regular season, the Wellington Dukes have been pushed to game 7 of their OJHL series by the Pickering Panthers.
Andrew Poulias scored at 11:52 of overtime to give the pesky Panthers a 5-4 victory to take the series back to the Essroc Arena for the deciding game. Jackson Arcan, Mitchell Mendonca, Daniel Panetta and Declan Carlile scored for Wellington. The Dukes outshot the Panthers 45-43.
Game 7 is tomorrow night at 8 at the Essroc Arena.
Meanwhile the Trenton Golden Hawks look to get even as they host the Aurora Tigers for game 6 of their conference quarter final tonight at the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens. The puck drops at 7:30. CJBQ has play by play covereage for “Need-A-Car” beginning at 7:20.
