It was a win and a loss for the Quinte region teams playing in the Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs Friday night.
The Wellington Dukes took a 3 games to one series lead against the Pickering Panthers with a 5 to 4 win at the Essroc Centre.
The win came despite being outshot 42 to 28 by Pickering. Geoff Lawson scored twice for the Dukes.
Meanwhile, the Trenton Golden Hawks have their backs up against the wall and must beat the Aurora Tigers tonight in Aurora or their season
will be over.
The Tigers got by Trenton 3 to 2 in overtime and took a 3 games to 1 lead in the series.
Steven Elliott and Max Ewart scored for the Golden Hawks.
Game 5 is tonight in Aurora at 7:30.
