The Pickering Panthers scored 25 seconds into the game and the Wellington Dukes couldn’t recover as they fell 3-1 to the vistors in game 3 of their OJHL conference quarter final at the Essroc Arena.
Graeme McRory scored Wellington’s lone goal mid way in the third. Dukes coach John Druce says his team may have been overconfident.
The Dukes were short handed 7 times in the game. Druce says discipline was one of two factors in the loss.
The Dukes lead the series 2-1 with game 4 tonight in Pickering.
