A small crowd showed up to offer support to Frank and Marjorie Meyers, in their battle to get farm land back from the federal government.
On Tuesday morning, about a half dozen people showed up to offer the Meyers some support.
Frank Meyers is now 90 and says he has never cashed the cheque from the Federal Government for the land to expand CFB Trenton, to make way for Canada’s Joint Task Force 2 (elite Canadian forces members).
Rally organizer Lorrie Tannahill says, although they did not get big numbers on site, many people from across Canada are showing their support.
Frank Meyers says he appreciates the support, but is not sure if it will make a difference.
