The Tweed Fire Department was called into action earlier this morning.
Firefighters arrived at 42 Karen Court, off of Sulphide Road near Cosy Cove shortly before 6 this morning.
A residence was filled with smoke, but there were no flames. A woodstove was malfunctioning and firefighters worked to ventilate the residence.
