Belleville will be in the national spotlight this weekend.
Rogers Hometown Hockey is fast approaching and with it comes lots of great events and activities for hockey fans of all ages.
The festivities start in the downtown on Saturday at 12 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. with events including a hockey circus show, live music and autograph signings with former NHLers Andrew Raycroft and Kyle Wellwood.
The fun continues into Sunday from 1 to 11 p.m. It’s another jam packed day highlighted by a thank you presentation from the city of Belleville, a live musical performance from rock supergroup TransCanada Highwaymen and following that, the NHL game of the night, the Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks.
