Residents of Quinte West will get the all star treatment at an upcoming Belleville Senators game.
B-Sens VP of Communications Roger Lajoie told council on Tuesday night that, to thank the people of Quinte West for supporting the team through it’s inaugural season, as “City of Quinte West Night” is being held on March 17 against the Utica Comets.
He said Quinte West residents will get a discount on tickets for that night and Mayor Jim Harrison will be dropping the puck during the ceremonial face off and the team is hoping that minor hockey groups from the city will make the trip to take in the game.
Lajoie noted that similar nights are being held for Deseronto, Stirling and Tweed as well, in the near future.
