A Clarington man has lost his car for a week after police caught a vehicle speeding through Faraday Township last Friday.
Officers clocked the car going more than 50 km/h over the 80 km/h speed limit on Highway 28 and pulled it over.
The driver, 29-year-old Jordan Baccin is charged with street racing and has lost his license and car for a week.
He’ll also have to attend court in Bancroft on April 3, 2018.
Meanwhile, a Wollaston Township man has been arrested after driving by the scene of an accident in Limerick Township this week.
OPP were investigating a crash on Tuesday, where they had to pull a car out of a ditch and traffic officers on scene noticed another vehicle drive by pulling a trailer.
Police say the driver of that vehicle, 48-year-old Geoffrey Hyde, had a suspended license, so they pulled him over and arrested him.
Hyde is charged with driving while suspended, driving without insurance, not having a valid permit for the vehicle or the trailer and three counts of using unauthorized plates.
He has a court date in Bancroft in April.
