It appears yet again, the CFB Trenton Pond Hockey Classic in Batawa will hit their financial goal
Although final numbers are not known, organizer Jeffrey Moorhouse tells Quinte News they are close to the $70,000 target.
Moorhouse says they still have more money to count and they should know their final number mid-week.
He says the largest component of the fundraiser is sponsorship, which was up year over year.
The tourney saw 40 teams from two divisions, a sellout.
The gala dinner featuring former Defence Minister Peter MacKay was also sold out.
