A national group opposed to federal plans to legalize recreational marijuana in July is asking Brighton council to not allow stores to sell marijuana in the community.
Brighton council will see a request from the group “Too Far Too Fast” at its meeting Monday night.
Too Far Too Fast believes the government has ignored the dangers of marijuana consumption which they say will impair drivers and create mental health and other medical issues.
Brighton council will meet tomorrow evening at 6:30 in council chambers.
