Belleville Senators winger Gabriel Gagne assited on the lone goal of the final game as the North Division defeated the Pacific Division 1-0 to win the AHL All Star Classic in Utica New York. C.J. Smith of the Rochester Americans scored the lone goal of the final and was named the MVP. Vancouver Canucks prospect Thatcher Demko of the Utica Comets made a sprawling save in the dying seconds to preseve the 1-0 victory.
Gagne is the first B-Sen to play in the All Star game. He scored a goal and 4 assists in four games of the round robin three on three format.
