A pair of basketball players have been named Loyalist Lancers “Athletes of the Week”.
Kurstyn Brant’s defensive play and on-court leadership keyed Loyalist’s 55-50 victory over the Algonquin Thunder to win Female Athlete of the Week.
Raymond Yeung scored 38 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals and 6 blocks to lead the Lancers to a pair of weekend wins to nab Male Athlete of the Week honours.
