OPP have installed a gate and sealed off a big residential property in Madoc Township.
As of this evening, there was an OPP cruiser in front and one in the back of the house and garage at
2598 Cooper Road, 13 km north of Highway 7 near Rimington Road.
Quinte News has reached out to the OPP and Toronto Police to confirm rumours that the property is owned by 66-year-old Toronto man Bruce McArthur.
As of 9 o’clock tonight (Thursday), we’ve not received a reply.

McArthur has been arrested and charged with the first degree murders of two Toronto men who remain missing and are presumed dead.
Toronto Police expect to find more victims in the McArthur matter and are searching five properties connected to him. Four are in the GTA and one is said to be in Madoc.
