A Grafton man is now $250,000 richer.
Joseph Lynam claimed the first top prize in the new Hit or Miss lottery game by having none of the numbers drawn appear on his ticket in the January 13th draw. He also won an additional eight dollars in other draws, bringing his total to $250,008.
Lynam, an electrician, admitted he was confused when he checked OLG.ca and saw that none of his numbers matched the winning numbers, but discovered shortly after that he had won the jackpot.
The married father of three says he shared the good news with his mother and wife and said they were very happy for him.
A “grateful” Lynam says he plans to enjoy life worry-free with his new money.
He adds he’ll pay off his mortgage and save for the future.
