Big changes are coming to a busy intersection at the border between Quinte West and Belleville.
Mayor of Quinte West Jim Harrison says the two cities have agreed to split the cost of intersection upgrades and the installation of traffic signals at Hamilton Road and Wallbridge Loyalist Road.
The traffic lights will be installed this year.
The cost is estimated at between $300,000 and $400,000.
Mayor Harrison says the upgrades and traffic signals will make the intersection much safer.
