The Belleville Police Service responded to 45 calls for service between January 14th 2018 at 5:00 a.m. and January 15th 2018 at 5:00 a.m.
Recovered stolen vehicle
Police made an arrest at approximately 8:35 p.m. on the evening of January 14th at a residence in the north-central area of the city. A 24-year-old man was arrested on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, breach of a recognizance, breach of probation and driving while suspended. The incidents occurred the day earlier with reports of the man returning to the residence on January 14th. The man remains in custody awaiting a show cause hearing slated for January 15 at Provincial Court.
