Stirling Figure Skating Club graduate Chloe Choinard and partner Mathieu Ostiguy from Quebec debuted their Junior Pairs short and long programs at the Canadian Tire National Championships in Vancouver. This is the first National competition for the 15-year-old Belleville born Choinard. They finished in 5th place with two personal best scores.
Today Brighton’s Trennt Michaud and partner Evelyn Walsh of London skate their short program in the Senior Pairs event. This is Michaud and Walsh’s first year at the Senior level. They won the National Junior Pairs title last year.
