Catholics in our listening area getting a chance to get up close and personal with one of the most famous saints in the world.
The University missionary group Catholic Christian Outreach, is organizing a national tour with the forearm relic of St Francis Xavier.
The missionary is credited with converting hundreds of thousands to Christianity and baptizing thousands with his right arm.
The relic will be doing a 14 city cross Canada tour, including Kingston on January 10th.
The Archdiocese of Kingston stretches from Prescott to Trenton and the Cathedral in Kingston will have mass, prayers and confessions with the relic next Wednesday.
The forearm relic rarely leaves Rome.
