OPP have identified the Trenton man killed in a head-on collision on Highway 401 near Clarington east of Bowmanville early Saturday morning.
Dead is 38 year old Jacob Knowlton.
He was the driver and sole occupant of an SUV driving the wrong way on the 401 when it slammed into a tractor trailer.
The SUV’s front end was crushed. The transport driver was not injured.
