A 47 year old man from Cobourg has been sentenced after pleading guilty to 36 residential and business break-ins throughout Northumberland County, Peterborough, Hastings, and Durham region.
According to Northumberland News, Gerald Cooper, who was addicted to drugs, was sentenced to 6 years in prison.
The break and enter spree occurred between March and August of this year. Cooper stole close to $115,000 worth of goods during that time.
