A well known Quinte area businessman has passed away.
Joe Burke, who only recently closed his menswear store in downtown Belleville after decades in the trade at various locations, died yesterday.
Mr. Burke’s father Harry was in the clothing business in Belleville in the 1920s and he started his own menswear business almost 60 years ago.
Joe Burke was very involved with the Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville.
Arrangements aren’t known at this time.
