Belleville Fire Officials say nobody was injured but a truck involved in a fire this morning was completely destroyed.
Fire Prevention Officer Dave MacMullen tells Quinte News a delivery driver for the Community Press was driving near Harmony Road and Plumpton Road, around 10:00 a.m., when he smelled smoke.
He got out of the truck, before it burst into flames, destroying the 2004 GMC Seirra and half of the load of newspapers.
MacMullen says the fire appeared to start on the left side, under the hood, but he couldn’t say exactly what sparked the blaze.
