A group of concerned citizens in the Oak Lake area has voiced some concerns to Quinte West’s planning committee, about about a number of issues around the lake.
Deputy Mayor Jim Alyea says the committee listened to a number of issues voiced by the Oak Lake Ratepayers Association at last week’s planning meeting.
Alyea says due to a special planning designation placed on the area in the mid-2000s, the group will also speak to Lower Trent Conservation about re-instating water testing on Oak Lake,as well as Quinte West Public Works to address issues with what it calls “improper culverts” in the area.
Those presentations would be made in mid-November.
