A 26 year-old Quinte West man, already charged with a number of sex and child porn offences by Belleville Police in late September, has been charged with more similar offences, by Quinte West OPP.
Quinte West investigators had recieved complaints about the accused making inappropriate actions towards youths and worked on the investigation collaboratively with the Belleville Police Criminal Investigations Branch.
Tanner Neron is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, making sexually explicit material available, indecent exposure and luring, all on a person, or persons, under 16.
Neron had previously worked with the local YMCA and Quinte West Minor Hockey.
He had a bail hearing on the new charges Tuesday and was released on a $5,000 bond.
He also has conditions including no contact with any of the alleged victims, any player currently registered with Quinte West Minor Hockey, or their families.
His next court appearance on the new charges is November 9th, but he’s scheduled back in court this Thursday in relation to the previous charges from Belleville Police.
