The Belleville Senators are back in the Quinte region with three of a possible six points on their road trip to Hartford, Providence and Springfield.
After a win in Connecticut and a shootout loss in Rhode Island, the Sens dropped a 7-4 decision to the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Coach Kurt Kleinendorst says the weekend was average.
Kleinendorst says it is a lot of hockey in under 48 hours.
He says if you lose the determination battle over the course of 60 minutes, you are likely to lose the game.
The Senators are off until they hop a plane Thursday for Winnipeg, for back-to-backs against the Manitoba Moose.
The first home game for the Sens is just over a week away, next Wednesday, when they take on Syracuse.
