A 17 year-old boy has been charged after an incident on the Wellington Beach boardwalk last month.
A woman who was walking in the area, around 2:30 on September 16th, told police she saw a teenager doing something inappropriate in the bushes.
She also commented to a young couple nearby about what happened and they may know the suspect as a student at their school.
Police have identified the Hillier teen and charged him with committing an indecent act, but his name won’t be released.
He has a court date in Picton in November.
