September was another strong month for building in Prince Edward County, with just under $500,000 more in permits issued compared to the same month last year.
Ninety-two permits were issued last month, with a construction value of $7.17 million, compared to 117 permits in September 2016, with a value of $6.7 million.
To date this year, work value of permits has already surpassed last year’s total of just over $83 million.
The 799 permits issued to date have a value of more than $88.2 million.
