There was a hit and run collision involving a pickup truck and a bicycle last night at a busy intersection in Belleville.
City police say a maroon Dodge Ram pickup turned left in front of an oncoming cyclist at Station and Albion Streets shortly after 9 o’clock.
The bicycle hit the back of the truck, and the cyclist was knocked to the street and was unconscious for a short time.
The driver of the pickup didn’t stop.
Police expect there should be damage to the trucks rear passenger side and is described as a crew cab vehicle with a short box.
The cyclist was treated and released from Belleville General Hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Waite of the Belleville Police Service.
