Canada has suffered its first loss at the World Womens’ In-Line Hockey Championship in Nanjing China. The result means Canada will now play for a bronze medal.
Belleville native Jackie Jarrell and the Canadians fell 3-2 to the U.S. in today’s semi final. That puts Canada in tomorrow’s bronze medal game against the Czech Republic. Both teams have 4-1 records.
The U.S. takes on unbeaten Spain for gold.
