A Belleville woman is opening her heart and her wallet for the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Irena Barker is giving $34,000 as part of the Picture of Health Campaign.
Barker’s donating more than $22,000 for a gastroscope for the endoscopy department, with another $11,000 plus for a defibrillator.
She is now in the Founder Level of donors, which is between $50 and $100 thousand.
