A pair of police officers injured in an ATV collision in Picton over the weekend are on the mend and expected to return to work soon.
During the early morning hours Sunday, 26-year-old Terry Luis- Gordon Fenemore of Picton was charged with impaired driving along with several other traffic infractions after an ATV he was operating collided with a police cruiser on Main Street.
Two officers were inside the vehicle and suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Prince Edward OPP detachment commander John Hatch says he met with the officers on Monday.
Twenty-two-year-old Elisha Cassandra Sallans, also of Picton, was also charged in the incident with Permitting an Unlicensed Person to Drive under the highway traffic act.
