The Dudley-Hewitt Cup champion Trenton Golden Hawks continue to make over their roster for the upcoming OJHL season.
Trenton has acquired 18 year old forward Mark Tassone from the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern League for future considerations. In 52 games last season, the 6 foot 200 pound Tassone scored 18 goals and 19 assists.
Golden Hawks Director of Operations John McDonald saw Tassone play as a 17 year old at the 2016 Dudley-Hewitt Cup in Kirkland Lake. McDonald says they were quite impressed with the Sault St. Marie native.
