A man and woman have been charged after a residence was broken in to on Belleville’s Haig Road yesterday afternoon.
Officers were given a description of suspects and located a couple of people nearby.
Police seized jewellery and other items.
A 34 year old Belleville man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance.
A 33 year old woman was charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
Both are in custody awaiting a bail hearing Monday.
