Not many employers plan on hiring in the third quarter of the year in the Quinte region.
According to the Manpower Employment Survey, just 10% of local employers plan on hiring
more staff, while about 7% plan on laying off workers.
83% plan on staying with their current workforce.
Meanwhile, according to the national survey, 17% of employers expect to hire more people in
the third quarter, while 4% plan to reduced their workforce.
