A Quinte West man has been charged, after a boater needed help getting back to shore.
On Friday night, just before 10:00 p.m., a call came in to Quinte West OPP.
The caller said a boat appeared to be in distress on the Trent River near Glen Ross.
They returned the boater to shore and during the operation, they alleged the driver was impaired.
The 61 year old was charged with impaired, over 80 milligrams and possession of marijuana.
He has a June 29th court date.
