A 19 year old Belleville man faces charges in a domestic incident that occurred late last night in city’s west end.
Belleville police say a woman was assaulted and had her cell phone broken so she couldn’t call the police.
Officers say she was also kept from leaving the residence.
The man was charged with domestic assault, mischief to property, forcible confinement and breach of a peace bond.
The woman suffered very minor injuries. The incident occurred just before midnight.
