Provincial police say a post-mortem has been completed on the body of a 24 year-old man, found in the Bay of Quinte near Massassauga Point, late last month.
David Franks left his Prince Edward County home for an early morning jog on May 25th and was reported missing on May 27th, which led to a large search by police, military members and the community.
Franks was found by the OPP’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit on June 1st.
Following the post-mortem, conducted at the Ottawa Hospital the following day, the Prince Edward OPP Crime Unit says no foul play is suspected and no other details will be released.
Following his death, the Franks family has asked for donations in support to the community policing Give Where You Live Campaign, formerly known as Pedal For Hope.
