Residents of the Bay of Quinte Riding who are making a difference in the community, could be honoured with a special gift, commemorating Canada’s 150th birthday.
MP Neil Ellis has commissioned a special Canada 150 coin, to be awarded to anyone in the riding who demonstrates a high level of individual excellence and achievement in any field, which benefits the people of the riding.
A committee of private citizens from all parts of the riding has been formed to review submissions and select the worthy recipients.
Instructions on how you can nominate someone will come out on June 5th and the window to submit names will close in September.
The MP’s office will be in touch with the constituents who are selected in October, with a presentation ceremony happening later in the fall.
