A crash on the 401 in Tyendinaga Township yesterday afternoon closed the road for eight hours.
Napanee OPP were called to a tractor trailer rollover in the eastbound lanes near Deseronto Road around 4:00 p.m.
The double tanker was carrying diesel fuel in one tank, animal fat in the other.
There was also a car involved in the crash, it was parked on the shoulder.
The driver was ejected and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, while two female passengers were also treated for minor injuries.
