The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation held its donor celebration Wednesday, to say thanks for support over the last year.
This year’s guest speaker was Doctor Emma Robinson, a two time Olympic medalist in rowing, and the Chief of Diagnostic Imaging for QHC. Robinson says at the height of her career she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She says being in a hospital and receiving treatment, has helped her as a doctor.
Robinson says health care advancements in equipment keeps them on their toes.
TMHF Executive Director Phil Wild thanked the dozens gathered for their help.
QHC Board Chair Doug McGregor says it is all about community.
New X-Ray equipment was one of the large purchases by the foundation. There is a new ultrasound machine, along with a new CT Scanner on the horizon.
