Some people living in the West Park Village area of Belleville do not like what a property owner on Sidney Street, near College Street, has planned for his property.
Belleville city council has already approved one three-storey, 30 unit apartment building for land at 450 Sidney Street.
Now the owner is applying to the Planning Advisory Committee for approval to build three more apartment buildings on the site.
Neighbours have written to the city stating their opposition to the plan, saying traffic will be too heavy and that the property isn’t big enough to handle that many buildings.
The Planning Advisory Committee meets Monday at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
