On Tuesday April 25th 2017, members of the Ontario Provincial Police – East Region including the Quinte West detachment, Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, assisted by the Belleville Police Service and the Tyendinaga First Nations Police Service executed eight Controlled Drugs and and Substance Act search warrants in the City of Quinte West.
As a result of the investigation, police seized quantities of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, heroin, MDMA (Ectasy), Hydromorphone, cannabis marijuana and Morphine with a combined street value of approximately $30,000. In addition to the controlled substances, police also seized a sawed off shotgun and ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, prohibited weapons, digital scales, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia. Police also located equipment and the precursors necessary to produce crystal methamphetamine.
Police charged 16 adults with the following offences:
Byron Schallock aged 38 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking (Crystal Methamphetamine) Schallock was released on an undertaking with a court date later this month.
Stephanie Hill aged 30 of Quinte West is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking (Cannabis Marijuana, Cocaine, Crystal Methamphetamine). Hill was released on an undertaking with a court date later this month.
Charmaine Mahoney aged 21 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking and was released on an undertaking for court later this month.
Jessie Maurice aged 24 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking. He was released on an undertaking for a later court date.
Eric Kutzner aged 23 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking. He was released on an undertaking for a later court date.
Bryan Gaunt aged 24 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and one count of possession of cannabis marijuana. He was released on an undertaking for a later court date.
Darrell Wilson aged 42 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and one count of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. Wilson was released on an undertaking for a later court date.
Kyle Smith aged 23 of Quinte West is charged with one count of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking and was released on an undertaking for a future court date.

Shea Walsh aged 30 of Quinte West is charged with Possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of MDMA, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a prohibited firearm, careless storage of a fire arm, unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Jessica Abbott aged 24 of Quinte West is charged with possession of heroin for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking.
Shaun Chard aged 29 of Quinte West is charged with possession of heroin for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking.
Michael Istead aged 33 of Quinte West is charged with possession of heroin for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking.
Nicole Swan aged 42 of Quinte West is charged with possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.
Amanda Johnston aged 30 of Quinte West is charged with possession of anything for use in the production of crystal methamphetamine, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and three counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Clifford Johnston aged 25 of Quinte West is charged with possession of cannabis marijuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of MDMA for the purposes of trafficking, possession of a prohibited firearm, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
Shane Dubeau aged 27 of Quinte West is charged with two counts of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of anything for use in the production of crystal methamphetamine, possession of cannabis resin (hashish) for the purposes of trafficking, three counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime.
The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
