There are reports that more charges have been laid against a Belleville tattoo shop owner, after earlier accusations of sexual assault against customers earlier this month.
47 year-old Kenneth Wayne Melvin was charged on April 3rd, following complaints by customers, and Belleville Police Detective Sergeant Brad Lentini told Quinte News in a phone call that more charges would be on the way.
According to the Belleville News, a publication ban prohibits police from releasing more details about the case, but it’s not clear why the ban was put in place, as no minors are believed to be involved in the case.
Melvin, who owns and operates Skin Graffix on Dundas Street East, is set to be back in court on May 3, 2017 for bail hearings connected to the new charges.
