A pair of arts groups in Prince Edward County have received some financial help from the Federal Government.
MP Neil Ellis announced today, the PEC Festival Players will get $15,000 for a series of theatre presentations, while the PEC Music Festival has been awarded $10,000 to support this year’s event.
The festival players group offers professional, Canadian-made theatre experiences which are relevant to the community, engaging and entertaining.
The group will announce its 2017 season schedule on May 10th.
The music festival, meanwhile, is in its 13th year and brings well-known Canadian classical performers to The County, throughout the summer.
