A 27 year old Belleville man has been sentenced for his involvement in a weapons and illegal drugs incident in the late summer of last year.
Christopher Lewis was sentenced to 2 years in jail, one year probation, a lifetime weapons prohibition, and was ordered to give a DNA sample.
Last August, Belleville police investigated an incident at a Charlotte Street apartment building where a shotgun had been fired.
While there, police seized cocaine, marijuana, and weapons.
There were no injuries.
Three other people were charged but have already been dealt with by the courts.
